Bournemouth International Airport - Completed September 2012
This project involved demolition and ground works, within Bournemouth International Airport.
The works undertaken included the following:
Removal of large aircraft hanger doors and associated steel pods.
Diamond cutting internal and external concrete slabs, thus separating that which was to be removed, from that which need to remain.
Breaking out slabs and aprons and crushing arising concrete.
Reducing levels of the aprons and disposing of resulting soils.
Laying Terram over the prepared areas, prior to laying crushed concrete over same and compacting with roller, thus forming a suitable sub base, which would then be covered in new concrete.
